Lawrence Fish Market has pioneered the very concept of a sushi fish market in Chicago, serving the Chicagoland area for the past 40 years.

Led by Takashi IIda, we offer a range of high quality affordable sushi, maki, and sashimi options at very reasonable prices.

Our fish is directly imported from Japan with our professional chefs inspecting each and every cut of fish.
We strive for consistency while offering competitive prices.
We are a family-owned business and want to offer an authentic sushi experience for all.

They also do a nice job at presentation, the sushi trays are always pretty. The owners are also nice, honest people and their business is a neighborhood staple...

5/5. Hands down the best sushi in Chicago! We're always more than satisfied with the sushi here, whether we get the daily platter or order individual rolls. Can't beat the prices either. Staff is always friendly and kind. During COVID they've closed seating and staff is always wearing masks & gloves.

This place was a saving grace for us during all of quarantine - we would order at least once a month a giant platter or two and just dig in to the awesome fresh sushi, sashimi and rolls that this place spits out! Really fresh fish, really fast service (just make sure to call your order in advance), and cash only.
